Pick up your favourite Mcvitie's product within the Promotional Period and keep hold of your receipt. Following your purchase, text TOGETHER to 88802 to enter the promotion. All valid entrants will receive a return text message with a link for entry.
Once you receive the link, (it may take a minute), it will take you to an online form where you will need to register your name, email address and enter/upload your written or video submission.

You have the choice to upload a video (max 30 secs) of yourself or compose a paragraph (min 100, max 250 word count). In your video or written submission, tell us who you miss most and how you might use the £1,000 cash prize to spend quality time with that special person.

The Promotion opens at 00:01 on Thursday 1st April 2021 and closes at 23:59 on Wednesday 30th June 2021.

Once you submit your entry, you will be told instantly if you are a £1,000 winner. We will then check out your video or written statement to make sure it meets the requirements (be kind and no profanities please!). If it all checks out, you will then receive an email telling you how to claim your prize.

You can enter once a day. You will also be limited to entering 3 times in total over the course of the promotional period to give everyone a fair chance of winning.

Text messages may be charged at your standard network rate and might not be included within your monthly text bundle.

Unfortunately, entries may only be made via text message. Claims by any other means (for example postal claims) shall not be accepted, except for no purchase necessary for Northern Ireland.

For an equal chance to win a prize, send your name, postal address in NI and mobile number in an envelope to 7118N McVitie's 'Chance to Win Share of £1m' NPN, PO Box 906, Chilton, Aylesbury, HP22 9HR to arrive by the Closing Date. One entry per envelope, per person, per day, and a maximum of three over the duration of the promotion. On receipt of an NPN request, an entry into the Promotion will be made on the NPN entrant's behalf. Winners only will be notified.

There are 1,000 prizes available to be won. If you are one of the winners, you will receive £1,000 paid straight into your bank account. Only one prize can be won per household.

Once your entry has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a text message containing a unique claim link. The claim page will prompt you to provide your full name, date of birth, address and bank details in order to claim your prize.

The following types of common video files should be accepted online: .mp4, .webm, .avi, .mov, .qt, .wmv, .mpg, .mp2, .mpeg, .mpe, .mpv .m4v, .3gp, .3g2. If you have another video file type, we recommend using an online file converter to convert it to a .mp4 file. Files should be less than 100mb.

Your video should only show yourself. Please do not be tempted to pan the camera. As much as we would love to see your family and friends you can only submit videos with yourself as the star, so enjoy it and take centre stage.

The content will not be judged, we will only be checking to ensure that it is suitable content to be published online. Bad language or nudity will not be accepted. Also featuring anyone other than the person clearly recording.
